dj's collectible shoppe goes global
With the start up of eBay, DJ’s Collectible Shoppe went online to expand sales all over the world. After 19 years renting the location on Douty Street, Jason and his wife purchased a building in Historic Downtown Hanford. With three times the space, DJ’s Collectible Shoppe moved to the new location and added an indoor gaming room with tables and chairs for players to play all sorts of card and board games. Vintage arcade games were added, and soon local artists found the gaming room a great place to create amazing works of art. Life-size statues and cosplay events add something special and unique to this one-of-a-kind destination spot. Annual events such as Free Comic Book Day in May bring visitors from all over California to DJ’s Collectible Shoppe.
PROVIDING A SAFE AND FUN PLACE
These days you can spot the third generation of the Weihart family, Jason’s daughter Kimberly, working at DJ’s and helping with online sales. Over the years. DJ’s has never lost sight of their main focus – providing a safe and fun place for people of all ages to hang out and learn about collecting cards, comics, action figures, or gaming. DJ’s Collectible Shoppe is a family business for everyone to enjoy!
